When you love someone unconditionally, you’re willing to give your all to them. And that’s what Dalton Gomez did for Ariana Grande.

Recently, Gomez went an extra mile to design his fiancé, Ariana Grande’s wedding ring. The 25-year-old, who works as a real estate agent at Aaron Kirman Group, sat down with renowned jeweler Jack Solow to create the blueprint for the magnificent piece, including a custom diamond band.

According to one of the jeweler’s spokesperson, the ring was a beautiful mixture of a classy platinum and diamond band, and Gomez was quite happy with how it turned out.

Before the wedding ring, Gomez had gifted Grande a magnificent engagement ring. Want to know how he designed that stunning piece? What inspired him? Well, then stick with us!

First, a look at their intimate wedding ceremony

On May 17, 2021, Grande’s representative revealed that she and Gomez had tied the knot at their home in Montecito, California, over the weekend. The lovey-dovey couple had a small ceremony with around twenty people, and they, as well as their families, are at cloud nine right now.

The rep said they chose Montecito for their wedding because they loved the place from the deepest corner of their hearts, and since that’s where Ari’s home is located too, they didn’t have to hunt for the perfect location for the nuptials.

Let’s hear the ring’s story from the designer himself

Jack Solow, the designer who crafted both rings, opened up about Gomez’s efforts in an interview with E! News. Solow said that Gomez made sure he participated in every step of the ring-making process through Zoom and FaceTime.

He had a clear idea of what the ring should look like when ready, and it was he who’d suggested the angle of the diamond and the incorporation of the pearl. Solow recalled that Gomez had informed him how significant the pearl was to Grande and what it would mean on the ring.

Grande’s connection with the pearl

A few days after Grande announced her engagement to Gomez, fans felt that something about the pearl on her ring was unique. In no time, they figured that the pearl came from the ring her grandmother had gifted her a few years back.

In 2014, Grande had tweeted that when her grandfather passed away, her grandmother Marjorie had an exceptional ring made from his tie pin as a token of remembrance. Apparently, her grandmother had had a dream in which her grandpa had suggested that the ring would always protect her.
